Medical Equipment & Supply Services in the North
To create a stable, reliable supply of medical equipment and supplies, AMS’s wholesale medical supply division sells to facilities across Canada. We maintain a Medical Device Establishment License with Health Canada and are a distributor for many master distributors and manufactures. This division will help your team maintain equipment and supplies even if there are interruptions in the medical supply chain.
AMS currently maintains an inventory that far exceeds the needs of most industrial medical operations (including all SKUs and in excess of $250,000 at any given time). Each air ambulance base maintains an approximately two-month inventory for all consumable items. We resupply and maintain back-up inventory in central supply stores in two separate locations.
We will meet with your health and safety team to develop customized medical supply and equipment inventories that ensure all your requirements are met!
We maintain relations with multiple suppliers for most products we inventory to ensure continuity of supply chain management including McKesson’s Canada, Medline Canada, Kohl Frisch, Apotex and Abbott Laboratories, Cardinal Health, Stryker Medical, Source Medical and ZOLL Medical Canada,
Additionally, we will meet with your health and safety team to develop customized medical supply and equipment inventories that ensure all your requirements are met economically and efficiently. AMS can provide customized emergency response kits, air medical equipment systems and industrial mass casualty response kits.
