Medical & Pharmaceutical Supply Division:

To create a stable, reliable supply of medical equipment, supplies and pharmaceuticals, AMS’s wholesale medical supply division sells to facilities across Canada. We maintain a Medical Device License with Health Canada and are a distributor for many master distributors and manufactures. This division will help your team maintain pharmaceutical supplies even if there are interruptions in the medical supply chain.

AMS currently maintains an inventory that far exceeds the needs of most industrial medical operations (including all SKUs and in excess of $250,000 at any given time). Each air ambulance base maintains an approximately two-month inventory for all consumable items. We resupply and maintain back-up our pharmaceutical inventory in central supply stores in two separate locations.

We maintain relations with multiple suppliers for most products we inventory to ensure continuity of supply chain management including McKesson’s Canada, Kohl Frisch, Apotex and Abbott Laboratories for pharmaceuticals and Cardinal Health, Source Medical, Canada Medical, and Medical Mart for medical supplies.

Additionally, we will meet with your health and safety team to develop customized medical supply and equipment inventories that ensure all your requirements are met economically and efficiently. AMS can provide customized emergency response kits, air medical equipment systems and industrial mass casualty response kits.
